Subaru Spain has announced the prices, finishes and equipment of its expected ECO Hybrid range, consisting of the new Forester, whose only available version will be hybrid, and the hybrid version of the XV. The first units will arrive in the autumn of this year to the official dealer network, where orders of both models are already accepted.

The new Forester and the Subaru XV are the first two models that incorporate Subaru's hybrid technology called e-Boxer, composed of a new generation propulsion system that combines an electric motor with two different brand technologies: the Boxer engine and the Symmetrical AWD permanent integral traction, placed longitudinally on the brand's acclaimed global platform.

The Subaru hybrid system, which employs 100% proprietary technology, maintains permanent 4-wheel drive, offering maximum safety on any surface and improved capabilities away from the asphalt thanks to the immediate torque delivery of its electric motor. Its excellent weight distribution, low center of gravity and the mechanical symmetry of the set offer a great balance, allowing a high level of comfort and a remarkable dynamism at the wheel. In addition, both the new Forester and the XV ECO Hybrid are able to run in 100% electric mode up to 40 km / h.
